HSA Board Positions
- President: The President shall preside at all meetings of the Home and School Association and the Executive Board and shall be an ex officio member of all committees except the nomination committee. The President is responsible for the safekeeping of all official H&SA documents.
- Vice-President: The Vice President shall perform the duties of the President in the absence of the President and shall assist the President when called upon. The Vice President shall keep a correct record of all the meetings of the H&SA and Executive Board. The Vice President shall make copies of meeting minutes available for review and approval.
- Secretary: The Corresponding Secretary shall be responsible for correspondence in connection with the business of the Executive Board and membership. The Corresponding Secretary shall be responsible for taking minutes in the event that the Vice President cannot be present at a meeting. The Corresponding Secretary is also responsible for the maintenance of the H&SA website and social media presence.
- Treasurer: The Treasurer shall receive all monies of the H&SA, keeping an accurate record of receipts and expenditures, and make disbursements as authorized by the H&SA, Executive Board or committees, in accordance with approved budgets and receipt vouchers. The Treasurer shall present a financial report at each business meeting during the school year.
- Officer Elect: The Officer Elect, although not an official officer until the start of their elected term, shall shadow the current Officer during the last fiscal year of their elected term. The Officer Elect shall use this experience to become familiar with the duties of the Officer to allow a seamless transition of office.
